Orinda Books hosted a WRITE ON discussion and books signing for Be the Star You Are!® for TEENS with contributors Arlyn Van Dyke, Rachel Glass, Cynthia Brian, Jacqueline Tao, Courtney Cheng, and Gaby Gryko.
Flutist Carol Albans performed beautiful solos on her flute between readings and discussions.

Be the Star You Are! for Teens discussion

Please join the fun at Orinda Books this Saturday, May 22 from 3-4:30pm when local contributors of the new book, Be the Star You Are! for TEENS - Simple Gifts for Living, Loving, Laughing, Learning, and Leading, join Cynthia Brian to read their chapters and offer a panel discussion called WRITE ON! about the writing/publishing process. You'll also be treated to music from flutist Carol Alban as well as receive free goodies.

Moraga Community Faire

May 8, 11-6PM Rheem Shopping Center The Chamber of Commerce invites you to its 4th annual Community Faire at Rheem Shopping Center on May 8, from 11-6pm. Be the Star You Are! 501 c3 charity will have several booths offering FREE activities for children, plus we'll be selling plants and books! It's a place to shop for that special gift for Mother's Day, browse through the collection of classic cars, listen to jazz and blues music in front of the stage, savor a juicy hamburger or a cotton candy cone, sip local wines, buy a new piece of art, and visit with friends and neighbors from all over the area.
